Harmony UU Recognized as LGBTQ+/TGQNB Welcoming Congregation

Harmony UU is proud to announce our renewal as an official Welcoming Congregation for 2025, as recognized by the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). This distinction celebrates our ongoing commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion, equity, and visibility in Maineville, Ohio, and beyond.

A legacy of inclusion

Harmony UU first earned its Welcoming Congregation designation in 2012. Each year since, we’ve reaffirmed our commitment by meeting the Five Practices of Welcome Renewal:

  1. Welcoming Worship Services
  2. Welcoming Days of Observance
  3. Welcoming Religious Education
  4. Supporting Welcoming Projects
  5. Revisiting the Welcoming Congregation Program

Through these practices, we strive to ensure that lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, asexual, two-spirit, genderqueer, and non-binary individuals feel fully seen, valued, and celebrated within our congregation.
