Artificial intelligence is exploding into our lives. As the products produced by AI become more and more difficult to distinguish from the work of humans, it raises many questions. Is a human mind intrinsically biological? That is, could a human mind exist in silico? What does this mean, ethically, and what does it mean for those of us who think for a living?
